About the company
Raise Your Shade products are distributed by our mother company, JM Custom Creations LLC, a custom drapery workroom that has served Massachusetts, since 2008. Our workroom specializes in Roman Shades, their unique lift systems, and their specific safety guidelines.
As a custom workroom, we have been using Coulisse components for years. Because we've seen how much our fellow workrooms could also benefit from these innovative systems, we decided to become a Coulisse distributor in 2019, which lead to the launch of Raise Your Shade, and we later became a distributor of Vako products as well.
We are proud to help make creating and installing custom Roman shades a truly professional experience.

As a life-long maker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful things, I opened JM Custom Creations in 2008. JMCC is now a to-the-trade workroom, specializing in draperies, roman shades, top treatments, pillows, and cushions. I became a member of WCAA in 2010, served as VP of the Eastern MA chapter 2015-2016, President from 2018-2019, and I now hold a Director-at-Large position for their National Board.
In 2020, my company began distributing Roman shade lift system hardware to the trade, serving workrooms in the New England area. In 2021, we acquired the name “Raise Your Shade” from Fabrication Studio Inc., and we now distribute to workrooms all around the United States.
